About Me

Art forms: Painting, watercolour, pen and wash,acrylic, oil, mixed media.

Maureen lives in Sandspit (New Zealand) and is a believer in the "sketch a day theory is the way to happiness!" 

Her sketches have become published books, which has led to teaching sketching and other art practises.

She is involved in Urban and Rural sketching. 

Her small and large realistic and abstracts works in water colour and acrylic are visually inspiring.

A lot of Maureen's work has close connections with the local environment and coastal areas of New Zealand.
